The first episode was filmed on Slosberg's second trip to Israel
and broadcast throughout South Florida in June. He proudly
pointed to Nielsen ratings citing The Slosberg Report's June 22
debut as viewed by 264,000 households in Palm Beach County
alone. "It showed prosperity, entertainment, all the positive
things about Israel that you don't usually see in the media.
I've always wanted to go to Israel because of the culture and
for educational reasons, but you only hear negative things," she
said.

Former State Rep. Irving Slosberg is embarking on a new career as
producer and star of The Slosberg Report, a news and entertainment
feature program from and about Israel for the Boca Raton resident's
fellow South Floridians.
The first episode was filmed on Slosberg's second trip to Israel and
broadcast throughout South Florida in June. He proudly pointed to
Nielsen ratings citing The Slosberg Report's June 22 debut as viewed
by 264,000 households in Palm Beach County alone.
The next episode is set to air Aug. 24, and Slosberg said he expects
to film two or three episodes per month in Israel. He advises that
The Slosberg Report will give viewers a true look at Israel.
"The networks only show the bad things going on in Israel. They give
you a sound bite about terrorism, but there's also plenty of good
things happening in Israel," he said.
Dawn Forgione is a Pompano Beach resident who has seen a preview of
the upcoming episode of The Slosberg Report. She has never been to
Israel, largely because of fears of terrorism that she now feels are
largely unfounded, having seen the show.
"It showed prosperity, entertainment, all the positive things about
Israel that you don't usually see in the media. I've always wanted
to go to Israel because of the culture and for educational reasons,
but you only hear negative things," she said.
She looks forward to watching The Slosberg Report's success because
she believes it will continue finding a large audience in South
Florida.
"I think there are a lot of people like myself that want to know
more about what's going on in Israel and want to see positives,"
Forgione said.
The next episode will air at 10:30 a.m. Aug. 24 on WPTV-Ch. 5 in
Palm Beach County and WPLG-Ch. 10 in Miami-Dade, Broward and south
Palm Beach counties.
